There is always something that has to be completed in exactly 5 minutes: cooking eggs, workout set, removing teabag...

This is a small utility I needed for this purpose but could not find one with the user experience that good enough had exactly one tap away from setting the alarm without overhead of widget.

• Fixed to 5 minutes
• No options
• Has a widget-like functionality but without the stress on the system
• Just one tap and forget
• Uses system default sound/notification after 5 minutes and turns on the screen
• Dismiss or reset from Android notification area
• Only 50kb.

Edit 2015:

Today we have Google Now for this purpose and when I want to set reminder to 5 minutes I just need to do following steps:

1. Swipe from bottom to access Google Now;
2. Wait to cards to show up
3. Say "OK Google"
4. Wait for a greeting sound
5. Say "Set alarm to four minutes!"
6. Done!

App has not been updated since 2012 but if you still want it go to 5min at Google Play Store
